Sebba Youth Empowered Through Training in Soap Making and Welding

Sebba: The Sebba town hall hosted a ceremony to award certificates to local young people who completed training programs in soap making and welding, initiatives made possible through the Community Recovery and Stability Project for the Sahel (PCRSS), as observed by AIB.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of the Sebba Special Delegation (PDS), Moussa Eric Sawadogo, presided over the event, expressing his delight at the successful culmination of the training programs. He encouraged the young participants to take their newly acquired skills seriously and use them responsibly, aiming to become role models for their peers.

Mr. Sawadogo emphasized that these achievements represent a significant step toward socio-professional integration. He also praised the PCRSS for its ongoing support and urged the project's Sahel regional office to expand training initiatives, believing that such efforts would greatly help in reducing youth unemployment in the area.

Harouna KaborE, head of the PCRSS regional office, reaffirmed the project's commitment to supporting Sebba and other beneficiary municipalities. He encouraged the newly trained individuals to apply their skills in practical settings and assured them of the PCRSS's continued support and monitoring of their progress.
