SEBBA — Lassané Sawadogo, the president of the Sebba jury, announced a remarkable 93.41% success rate in the Primary Study Certificate (CEP) exams on Friday, June 14. This high achievement rate was recorded among the 167 students who participated, including 78 girls and 89 boys.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the head of the Sebba basic education district and coordinator of the examination, the exams were conducted under challenging conditions, including a difficult security situation and technological hurdles such as the introduction of new software for processing results, which was complicated by unreliable internet service. Despite these challenges, the students showed excellent performance, with 156 students passing, including 74 girls and 82 boys. Bako praised the dedication and hard work of the jury and examiners who contributed to this success in the face of adversity.
Issiaka Hamidou Bokoum, the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education, expressed gratitude towards the Defense and Security Forces (FDS)/Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP), teachers, parents, and municipal authorities for their support. Their collective efforts ensured a peaceful and successful examination period in Yagha province. Bokoum also promised to address any concerns from the Basic Education Collective (CCEB) and celebrated the students' success, hoping for continued peace in the region.
