Saudi Ambassador to Sierra Leone Pays Courtesy Call on H.E Ambassador Mohammed Barrie

Riyadh: H.E Saud Musa'ad Abo Musaed, Ambassador Designate of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Sierra Leone, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Ambassador Mohammed Barrie at the Sierra Leone Chancery in Riyadh on Thursday. The newly appointed Saudi Ambassador met with Ambassador Barrie, Deputy Ambassador Abdul Aziz Turay, Brigadier General Samuel Bob Farmar, Sierra Leone's Head of Delegation to the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), and other senior staff.

According to Sierra Leone News Agency, the two top diplomats discussed matters of mutual interest to strengthen the Sierra Leone-Saudi Arabia relationship. Mr. Musaed pledged support to deepen bilateral ties and learn best practices. Ambassador Barrie welcomed the gesture and congratulated him on his appointment.

The new Saudi envoy is expected to assume his diplomatic duties in Sierra Leone after the Holy month of Ramadan.
