Sanguié: Sanguié, headed by the High Commissioner, responded to the national call “Patriotic time to green Faso” by carrying out mass reforestation in Didyr, AIB noted. The province’s top official wanted to use this gesture to contribute to the goal of planting 5 million trees in one hour.
According to Burkina Information Agency, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., the provincial High Commissioner, Talari Germaine Ouoba, accompanied by his close collaborators, went to plant a large number of trees in Didyr. This initiative, technically supported by the Provincial Directorate of Water and Forests, included medicinal, fruit, and shade-producing species.
Ms. Ouoba congratulated her team on its efforts and emphasized the importance of properly maintaining young shoots.
