Sandbondtenga CEP 2026: Candidates Urged to Rely on Personal Efforts

Sandbondtenga: 684 candidates began the written and oral examinations for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the entrance exam for 6th grade on Tuesday in the municipality of Ziga. The session was launched by the president of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Ziga, Amadou Konvolobo, who urged the candidates to demonstrate discipline, composure, and confidence in their abilities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, for the 2026 session, the Basic Education District (CEB) of Ziga registered 684 candidates, including 426 girls and 258 boys, distributed across four composition centers: Ziga, Bissiga, Soubeira-Natenga, and Guibtenga. This number remains lower than that of the 2025 session, which had 809 candidates. 'We have fewer students this year because several CEB schools with biennial recruitment are not presenting candidates this time,' explained the CCEB of Ziga, Edmond Ou©draogo.

The PDS, at the head of a delegation composed of administrative, security, and educational authorities, visited the centers of Soubeira-Natenga and Guibtenga, where he proceeded to open the dictation envelope, the first test marking the official launch of the examination in the commune. In the examination centers visited, the municipal authority provided advice to the candidates, encouraging them to achieve better results and to demonstrate discipline, composure, and confidence in their abilities.

The PDS also praised the commitment of those involved in the examination and urged them to be rigorous and strictly adhere to the instructions for the smooth running of the tests.
