Kailahun: Mr. Braima Allieu, the Regional Manager of SALWACO-East, has visited the Kailahun Water Treatment Station to assess work and progress under the Six Towns Water Supply Project funded by the government of Sierra Leone.
According to Sierra Leone News Agency, the project aims to optimize the water supply system in Kailahun township as the demand for water continues to rise. Mr. Allieu expressed his satisfaction with the progress made so far by the contractors involved in the project.
During his visit, Mr. Allieu also inspected the water pipes’ relocation site along the Buedu-Kailahun highway, which is currently under construction. He extended his gratitude to Mr. Aiah Yonga, SALWACO’s Station Manager in Kailahun, and his team for their efforts and encouraged them to maintain their dedication.
Furthermore, Mr. Allieu urged the team to communicate any challenges and concerns to the SALWACO management through the regional office to seek appropriate solutions. He emphasized that similar visits would cont
inue in other SALWACO operational locations within the Eastern Region.
