Sahel Youth Engaged in Burkinabe Revolution Through Public Conference

Dori: Young people from the city of Dori were immersed in the progressive and popular Burkinabe revolution during a public conference organized by the mission officer at the Presidency of Faso for the Sahel region, Mr. Ali Bokoum.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the objective of this meeting was to explain the role and place of youth in the implementation of the progressive and popular revolution, initiated by Captain Ibrahim Traor©, President of Faso. As part of the rebuilding of the Burkinabe nation on the basis of sovereignty, justice, security, and sustainable socio-economic development, Comrade Captain Ibrahim Traor© launched this initiative.



The Secretary General of the Sahel region, Mr. Auguste Kinda, welcomed the holding of this public conference, placed under the theme: “Progressive and popular revolution in Burkina Faso: role and place of youth in its implementation.” He emphasized that Burkina Faso has initiated a decisive turning point in its socio-economic development, with youth being the central hinge.



Mr. Kinda thanked Mr. Ali Bokoum for organizing the conference, aiming to inspire patriotic and civic engagement among young people in the Sahel region. He stated that this meeting constitutes a true immersion for the region’s youth in the new sovereignist policy led by Captain Ibrahim Traor©.



Mr. Bokoum noted that the conference aims to popularize and promote this new policy among young people, who are considered the spearhead of sustainable development in Burkina Faso. The event was co-hosted by the commander of the fourth military region, Battalion Chief Amadou Sanou, the prefect of the Dori department, Mr. Atiana Ayiyongo, and Mr. Ali Bokoum.



The panelists outlined the reasons behind the outbreak of the revolution, the motivations for adherence to this political change, and the need for contributions to ensure its success.
