The Burkinabè army, thanks to its air assets, neutralized many terrorists in Kelbo and Seytenga during their meetings, the AIB learned Thursday from security sources.

On the evening of Wednesday July 5, 2023, the Burkinabe intelligence services spotted terrorists in the Kelbo area (Soum, North).

The criminals held a meeting there in an abandoned hamlet.

Late at night, when they were grouped under a hangar, the air vectors fired on them, neutralizing them all.

Earlier during the day, the sleuths of the intelligence service detected around Seytenga, around forty criminals.

Taking refuge under huts and under trees, they were liquidated in strikes.

Several supply operations for the benefit of the populations of the East and Seno have taken place successfully, thanks to the Combatant Forces which have repelled attacks against certain convoys.

Operations continue at different levels of the national territory to restore peace, assure security sources to the AIB.
