Sahel States Launch Investment Bank and Stabilization Fund


NIAMEY — Leaders from the Sahel region, including Presidents Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso, Assimi Goïta of Mali, and Abdourahame Tiani of Niger, have agreed to establish the AES Investment Bank and a Stabilization Fund. This decision was announced at the conclusion of the first summit of the Confederation of the Alliance of Sahel States.



According to Burkina Information Agency, The creation of these financial institutions aims to bolster economic stability and development across the Sahel region, aligning with broader regional goals of securing economic independence and progress.
