Dori: The Sahel Community Recovery and Stabilization Project (PCRSS) concluded its annual meeting in Dori, Burkina Faso, to assess its progress as of September 30, 2024, and to develop its work plan and budget for 2025. The meeting brought together stakeholders to review the accomplishments and infrastructure developments aimed at benefiting Sahelian communities.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the project delivered several key infrastructural achievements, including the construction of three storage warehouses with a capacity of 500 tons each, the distribution of 1,050 essential household items kits, and the provision of benches, gas stoves, mechanical equipment kits, and motorcycle ambulances. Kaboré praised the stakeholders for their collaboration and noted that the project has had a significant impact on the target communities.
Looking ahead to 2025, the PCRSS plans to invest nearly 10.85 billion FCFA in further community infrastructure and recovery initiatives.
