Safan© School “A” Clinches OSCLEP Title for Fourth Straight Year

Mouhoun: The Safan© Basic Education District (CEB) held the closing ceremony for the Primary School Sports, Culture, and Recreation Organization (OSCLEP) activities in Bilakongo. The theme for the event was 'Sport and Culture: Factors of Civic Responsibility and Patriotism in Schools.' Safan© 'A' School emerged victorious in the final, securing their title for the fourth consecutive year with a 4-3 win over Bona in a penalty shootout.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was chaired by Ali Traor©, President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Safan©, and sponsored by Adama S©r©. The event drew administrative, educational, customary, and religious authorities, along with many students and residents, to celebrate the sporting and cultural achievements within the school environment.

The football final saw Bona public primary school face off against Safan© 'A,' concluding in a one-all draw during regular play. Safan© 'A' clinched the victory in the penalty shootout, maintaining their winning streak. The finalist teams were honored with jerseys, balls, medals, and encouragement envelopes, while cultural activity finalists received awards and prizes for their performances.

Ali Traor© commended the organizing committee and the educational community's strong involvement, emphasizing the role of sport and culture as crucial educational tools that promote discipline, civic-mindedness, and patriotism among students. He urged education stakeholders to continue enhancing teaching quality in the municipality and assured the special delegation's support for initiatives aimed at local educational development.

Karim Demb©l©, Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Safan©, thanked Bilakongo's residents for their hospitality and acknowledged the authorities' support and presence. He urged educational actors to strengthen their commitment to providing quality education.

The ceremony was attended by regional directors responsible for primary education in Bankui and Sourou, provincial directors of Mouhoun and Koosin, and representatives from the commune of Safan©.
