OUAGADOUGOU, Burkina Faso – Bulgarian company Bulmint has expressed interest in investing in Burkina Faso’s gold refinery market, with a focus on the development of the sector.

According to Burkina Information Agency, led by Radoslav Marinov, presented their investment plans to Burkina Faso’s Minister of State, Bassolma Bazié, in Ouagadougou last Thursday. The discussions centered around Bulmint’s intention to invest in West Africa, particularly in Burkina Faso, and the potential collaboration with the local government.

The communications services of the Ministry of Civil Service revealed that Minister Bazié welcomed the prospect of such investment, emphasizing the importance of local human resource development and skills transfer as key conditions. The minister expressed his openness to investments that contribute to economic autonomy and the training of local personnel.

Radoslav Marinov, the manager of Bulmint, shared his positive impressions of the meeting with Minister Bazié, noting the minister’s commitment to working towards economic independence and sovereignty for Burkina Faso.
