Sabcé, Bam-Bissa Gold, a mining company, has made significant strides in community development by equipping more than 70 young individuals with vocational training and necessary tools in Sabcé. On August 13, 2024, the company celebrated the completion of this training by handing out certificates and installation kits across three sectors: cutting and sewing, solar energy, and mesh manufacturing. The ceremony was presided over by Aristide G. Bado, the prefect and President of the special delegation of the commune of Sabcé.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Bissa Gold's community relations manager, the initiative aims to enhance the employability of youths in communities affected by the mine’s operations. The training was part of a broader effort to address community grievances regarding employment opportunities by fostering self-employment among local youths. This year, five municipalities, including Sabcé, benefited from the program, with an investment of 500 million FCFA aimed at ensuring that these young individuals can start their own businesses.
