Rwanda Enters Nuclear Power Agreement with American Firm

KIGALI — Rwanda has embarked on a significant new phase in its energy development by signing a deal with the American company Nano Energy for the construction of small modular nuclear reactors. This agreement marks a pivotal step for Rwanda in diversifying its energy sources.

According to Burkina Information Agency, a daily in Connecticut, Nano Energy will assist Rwanda by providing both technical support and training for nuclear experts. The deal also includes the development of necessary modern infrastructure to support Rwanda's burgeoning nuclear energy capabilities, aiming to bolster the country's energy independence and technological advancement.
