Russian Investors Discuss Infrastructure Ventures in Ouagadougou with Burkinabe Minister

Ouagadougou – A group of Russian investors met with Burkina Faso’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, to present various infrastructure, transport, technology, and environmental projects. This meeting, held on Monday, aimed to strengthen investment ties between Russia and Burkina Faso and align potential projects with the national priorities outlined in Burkina Faso’s Transition program.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this partnership seeks to enhance bilateral relations through increased media exchanges and shared information, facilitating better connectivity between investors from both countries. The minister expressed optimism about the collaboration’s future, especially in light of plans to appoint a Russian resident ambassador to Burkina Faso, which could further solidify political and economic connections.
