Moscow: Russia sees potential for expanding energy cooperation with Indonesia, including joint investments in exploration, production, and processing of hydrocarbons, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said on Tuesday.



According to Namibia Press Agency, Manturov emphasized the opportunities for collaboration in the energy sector during the 13th meeting of the Russian-Indonesian Joint Commission on Trade, Economic and Technological Cooperation. He highlighted the possibility of supplying fossil fuels to Indonesia and engaging in joint ventures in geological exploration, production, and processing of hydrocarbons.



Additionally, Manturov noted that Russian companies are prepared to introduce developments in information security, artificial intelligence, and smart city technologies to Indonesia, expanding the scope of potential cooperation between the two nations.
