Russia and US Engage in Active Exchange of Special Envoys’ Visits

Moscow: There is a very active and regular exchange of special envoys' visits underway between Russia and the United States, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. "We can observe a very active exchange of special envoys' visits, which have become almost regular. Both our envoy [Kirill] Dmitriev and the US envoy [Steve] Witkoff have been making such shuttle visits," Peskov told Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin in an interview out on Sunday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, reciprocal visits of the Russian president's special envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, and the US president's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, serve as a reliable channel of communication between the Russian and US leaders, Peskov said. "It is a very good, reliable channel for communicating our positions to each other," he added.
