Luanda: The National Under-19 Roller Hockey Team on Monday defeated Mozambique's national team by a resounding 9-1, in the first round of the African Championship. Angola was already leading by a resounding 5-1 at halftime, in a competition held at the Cidadela stadium pavilion in Luanda. According to Angola Press News Agency, the rout began building early against an opponent with much less athletic ability. Angola scored four more goals in the second half, compared to just one conceded in the first period. Felisberto and Sérgio scored a hat trick, while Jorge, Jedson, and Feliciano each scored a goal. Mozambique's consolation goal was scored by Moisés.
