Souom/arbinda: The road leading to the medical center in the commune of Arbinda was rehabilitated in two days of intensive work, on the occasion of the launch of the third phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC). This citizen action, carried out with the active participation of the population, illustrates the community’s commitment to improving local living conditions.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the official launch of activities took place this Monday through a ceremony of raising the national colors, presided over by the president of the special delegation of the commune, Mr. Lazard Kieme, in the presence of administrative authorities and key stakeholders. On this occasion, the PDS delivered the message from the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, calling for a surge of patriotism and the promotion of local consumption. He specifically urged traders and the general public to prioritize local products in their consumption habits.
“A wise child is one who buys his mother’s cakes,” the presidential message reminded, thus inviting every Burkinabe to value national production. Placed under the theme: “Food sovereignty and economic patriotism: together, let us cultivate our dignity through local production and consumption”, this phase of the JEPPC aims to strengthen civic engagement and the economic autonomy of Burkina Faso.
