Kaya: The Secretary General of the Koulse region, Bernadette Adenyo/Serme, affirmed on Tuesday during the ceremony of raising the national colors that "the region is moving forward" in all sectors, welcoming the notable progress observed in the cultural, security, and social fields.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Ms. Bernadette Adenyo/Serme praised the commitment of all stakeholders to the region's progress. She stated that "the Koulse region is thriving thanks to the combined efforts of everyone, particularly the defense and security forces," before adding that, in all sectors, "the region is moving forward."
She attributed these positive developments to the vision of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, who aspires to a Burkina Faso of peace and prosperity.
Welcoming the constituted bodies to the headquarters of the first military region, Colonel Hamado Bambara, the local commander, emphasized the joint efforts of the population and the defense and security forces (FDS) in consolidating peace. He invited the constituted bodies and the population to continue to support the FDS and to share intelligence with them, so that the situation continues to evolve under good conditions.
During this flag-raising ceremony, Safiata Oubda, the regional director in charge of Culture for Koulse, presented the awards won by artists from the region during the 22nd National Culture Week (SNC). Across all categories, the Koulse won 9 official prizes, including 4 first-prize trophies. Several special prizes were also awarded to the region.
Ms. Safiata Oubda stated that "these awards are dedicated to the defense and security forces as well as to the governor of the region." This solemn flag-raising ceremony mobilized constituted bodies, including several uniformed services and cultural actors.
