REMINDER: PARLIAMENT’S PRESIDING OFFICERS TO BRIEF THE MEDIA ON HOSTING OF 9TH BRICS PARLIAMENTARY FORUM

The Presiding Officers of Parliament, National Assembly Speaker Ms Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula and the Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces, Mr Amos Masondo, will address a media briefing tomorrow, 26 September 2023 at 13:30. They will share details of the preparations for the 9th BRICS Parliamentary Forum (BRICS PF) hosting.

The BRICS PF is a structure that brings together the leaders of the legislative organs of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. The upcoming Assembly aims to deepen collaboration, partnership, and progress under the theme “Harnessing Multilateralism and Parliamentary Diplomacy to Deepen BRICS and Africa Partnership for Accelerated Implementation of the Africa Free-Trade Agreement.”

NB: Media personnel are encouraged to collect their accreditation tags at the above accreditation centres as no tags will be handed out at the Emperors Palace.
