Gaoua: The regional council provides several structures with equipment: The special delegation of the Southwest region proceeded, on Friday, with the official handover of various equipment to several regional structures. The ceremony, chaired by the president of the special delegation of the Southwest Regional Council, Siaka Barro, took place within the regional council.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this donation of equipment, with a total value of 126,566,350 FCFA, is part of the regional council's commitment to supporting the highest authorities in their quest for national sovereignty, explained Mr. Siaka Barro. The beneficiaries of this donation are the defense and security forces, which will receive 26 Aloba motorcycles, the regional directorate of Agriculture, which will receive 5 agricultural tractors, as well as the region's educational structures, which will benefit from 260 tables and benches.
