Ramongo CEB Participates in National Tree Day to Promote Reforestation

Ramongo: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Ramongo mobilized on Monday in response to the Governor of the Nando region's call, actively participating in the National Tree Day (JNA) and the national reforestation campaign.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the planting ceremony was held at the CEB inspection office grounds in Ramongo. Staff engaged in planting several seedlings, which were safeguarded with netting to ensure their protection and growth. This effort is part of a broader initiative by CEB agents to support citizen actions for environmental preservation, aligning with national slogans that emphasize personal and institutional responsibility in tree planting. The initiative underscores the commitment to aiding authorities in efforts to restore vegetation cover and combat climate change.

Wendtenda Paul Marie Zoma, the Head of the Ramongo Basic Education District, praised the dedication and responsibility shown by the staff. He congratulated them on their mobilization and stressed the importance of prioritizing the maintenance of the seedlings to ensure their survival and growth. To manage this initiative effectively, Comrade Nana Moctar has been appointed to oversee the "Inspection Grove," ensuring regular monitoring and maintenance of the plants.

The Ramongo Basic Education District's initiative highlights its dedication to environmental protection and aims to raise awareness among education stakeholders about the significance of reforestation. The district aspires to make the "Inspection Grove" a symbol of civic engagement and collective responsibility, contributing to a greener Burkina Faso.
