Sabou: From 8 a.m., the Muslim faithful of Sabou gathered in the courtyard of Public Primary School A to celebrate, under the leadership of the imam of the great mosque, the Ramadan prayer and express their gratitude to Allah for His mercy throughout this holy month.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the imam of the great mosque delivered a sermon imbued with wisdom, focusing on essential values such as love, forgiveness, and cohesion among believers, as well as among all Burkinab¨. He also implored the Almighty to bring peace to "our dear Burkina Faso" and expressed wishes for health and longevity for President Ibrahim TRAORE and his government.
This event, which brought together at least a thousand people, was enhanced by the presence of the chief of Sabou canton, Naaba YEMD€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬° II, his notables, heads of departments, as well as the priest of the Catholic parish of Sabou, thus illustrating the richness of interfaith dialogue and mutual respect.
