Nayala: Muslim worshippers in the province of Nayala celebrated the Eid al-Fitr prayer in Toma on Friday, led by Imam Assami Par©, in the presence of provincial and municipal authorities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, at the end of the two rakats, Imam Assami Par© invited the faithful to embrace tolerance, sharing, and solidarity. He also offered prayers for the Defense and Security Forces engaged in the reconquest of the national territory.

Among the authorities present at the prayer alongside the Muslim faithful of Toma were the High Commissioner of the province of Nayala, Honor© Fr©d©ric Par©, the president of the special delegation of Toma, Zakaria Sawadogo, the secretary general of the province, Adama Diallo, and the central police commissioner, S©ogo Justin.

In his speech, the High Commissioner of the province of Nayala wished a happy holiday to the Muslim faithful and the entire population. He also called for prayers for peace, security, and social cohesion in the province, while expressing his closeness to the faithful.
