Qatar willing to scale up economic cooperation with Tunisia, says Qatar’s Premier

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani reiterated during his talk on Tuesday in Tunis with Prime Minister Najla Bouden, his country’s willingness to scale up bilateral economic cooperation relations.

A set of regional and international issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting, reads a Prime Ministry press release.

Bouden affirmed for her part, Tunisia’s willingness to ensure the resumption of the investment projects’ achievement pace, notably those under Tunisia’s vision for 2035.

Tunisia seeks to ensure the participation of Qatar in funding these projects through its investment mechanisms, notably in the renewable energy, tourism and medicine sectors, Bouden pointed out.

Besides, she expressed her consideration to the Qatari authorities for their continuous support to Tunisians living in this country, reiterating Tunisia’s willingness to further bolster bilateral technical cooperation.
