Katima Mulilo: The Enkehaus Private Hospital in Katima Mulilo sponsored the Zambezi gospel talent search that concluded on Saturday. The gospel talent search that started in September saw Melissah Puteho walk away with a cash prize of N.dollars 10,000 as well as an opportunity to finance the recording of her gospel album. According to Namibia Press Agency, event organiser Lizzelle Kombo stated that the event is the brainchild of her husband, Dr Ernest Kombo, who deemed it fit to sponsor an event of this kind for the first time in the region. 'Our principles centre around Christianity and because of my husband's love for gospel music and part of our social responsibility, he thought this is a better way to do it in the Zambezi Region. We are not doing it for any other recognition, we are doing it as a form of evangelism for the glory of God,' she said. She encouraged the winner and runner-ups to not deviate from their calling of doing gospel music. Enkehaus Private Hospital was co-founded by Dr Kombo who al so serves as pastor for the Model Prayer Ministries church in Katima Mulilo.
