Principal Secretary, State Department for Devolution, Teresia Mbaika, makes a presentation, Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Pride Inn Azure Hotel in Nairobi when she hosted a breakfast meeting on Inter-Governmental Relations for State Departments. PS Mbaika said both the National and County Governments are distinct, inter-dependent and are required to conduct their mutual relations on the basis of consultation and cooperation. She said the office of the Deputy President is the National Government entity charged with the sole responsibility of ensuring that the devolved system of government delivers the country’s socio-economic development agenda through structured coordination and facilitation of all stakeholders, partners and actors.
