Provisional Voters’ Register on Display in Otjozondjupa

Otjiwarongo: The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) in the Otjozondjupa Region is urging potential voters for the November elections to verify their personal details in the provisional voters' register in order to ensure a smooth voting process.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Beatrice Sililo, the ECN Otjozondjupa Regional Voter Education Officer, stated that the provisional voters' register will be on display from Friday until Monday. Voters can verify their details at constituency offices nationwide.

This verification exercise is crucial for all registered voters who plan to participate in the upcoming Regional Councils and Local Authorities elections. It allows them to confirm that their names are spelled correctly and that their residential addresses and gender information are accurate.

Sililo emphasized the importance of this process, stating, 'Be on the safe side, verify your personal details in the provisional voters register before the voting day on 26 November 2025.' She also noted that this process will help the ECN create a more accurate list by identifying and removing the names of deceased individuals.

In the Otjozondjupa Region, the provisional voters' register can be viewed at the Otjozondjupa Regional Council building, where the Otjiwarongo Constituency office is located, and at the Kalkfeld settlement office. The registers are available for viewing from 08h00 until 17h00.
