Ouagadougou: On a mission to monitor the activities of the agricultural Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in Godyr, the mission officer Pema Neya made a stop on Wednesday in Ro, to encourage the teams of the THIMO (High Intensity Labor Works) program deployed for sanitation operations.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this stopover allowed the project manager to meet with the "sanitation workers" in the midst of their tasks. Engaged in clearing gutters and weeding the city's main roads, these workers received praise from project manager Neya for their contribution to improving the living conditions of the population.

Comrade Neya also took the opportunity to provide them with technical advice aimed at optimizing the effectiveness of their interventions in the field. For the project manager, urban sanitation remains a pillar of national development. "The development of a nation begins with concrete actions. Every street cleaned, every space cleared, and every effort made testifies to our shared will to build a cleaner, more dignified, and more resilient Burkina Faso," he maintained.

Beyond the purely health-related aspect, Pema Neya reminded the agents that their commitment to endogenous development is in line with the ideals of the People's Progressive Revolution, which places work and discipline at the heart of national sovereignty. While expressing his gratitude to the partners and well-wishers supporting this initiative, the project manager invited local communities to support these civic actions.
