Ouagadougou: Burkina Faso’s Prime Minister, Apollinaire Kyélem de Tambèla, emphasized the critical role of legal texts in maintaining state order during a press interview on Thursday. He stressed that legal frameworks are the foundation from which a stable state is built.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the government has created a comprehensive legal text bank to serve as a resource for public administration. The database, presented by the Prime Minister’s office, allows for easy access to over 11,000 legal documents that regulate various aspects of governance in Burkina Faso.
The Prime Minister urged the public to utilize the platform for research, emphasizing its significance as the first of its kind in the region. He added that the platform is a key part of the government’s broader efforts to digitize and dematerialize administrative data, with plans to expand the system nationwide.
