ASSOSA, Benishangul Gumuz – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and First Lady Zinash Tayachew today inaugurated a new bread factory in Assosa, capable of producing 300,000 loaves per day. The project, spearheaded by the Office of the First Lady, is part of a broader initiative that includes constructing educational facilities across Ethiopia.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the First Lady’s Office has been instrumental in developing over 30 high schools and more than a dozen bread factories nationwide, with financial support from various partners. The inauguration also included a symbolic tree planting within the bread factory compound, linking the nation’s industrial and environmental initiatives.
