According to Namibia Press Agency, Xi, who also serves as the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will use the occasion to deliver a significant speech. The ceremony will celebrate 15 individuals with the nation’s highest honors, including the Medal of the Republic, the Friendship Medal, and various national honorary titles. These accolades were formalized by a presidential order signed by Xi on September 13.
The ceremony promises wide accessibility, with live broadcasts by China Media Group and Xinhuanet. Additionally, major central news websites such as people.cn, cctv.com, and china.com.cn will relay the event. It will also be available on several new media platforms, including mobile apps managed by People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, and China Central Television.
