President Traoré’s Convoy Receives Warm Send-Off in Houndé En Route to Bobo Dioulasso

HOUNDÉ — President Ibrahim Traoré’s departure for Bobo-Dioulasso was met with an enthusiastic reception from the residents of Houndé as he embarked on a journey to preside over several key events, including the 12th National Culture Week.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the citizens of the mining town gathered along the route, cheering as the convoy passed. President Traoré is scheduled to oversee the inauguration of infrastructure projects such as road development and asphalting in Bobo-Dioulasso, alongside the refurbishment of National Road No. 08, stretching to the Mali border.
