OUAGADOUGOU — On the eve of the 33rd Olympic Games in Paris, President Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso expressed his support and confidence in the nation’s athletes, urging them to excel and bring the Burkinabè victory anthem, the Ditanyè, to the global stage.

According to Burkina Information Agency, he encouraged the athletes to demonstrate their skills and represent Burkina Faso proudly. “Brave stallions engaged in different disciplines, I have confidence in your abilities to carry the torch of our Nation high during this competition,” he wrote, affirming the whole nation’s support for their efforts at the upcoming games.
