President Traoré Pledges Full Emancipation of Burkina Faso Women on International Women’s Day


Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso – On the occasion of the 167th International Women’s Day, President Ibrahim Traoré has committed to engaging in discussions aimed at the full and real emancipation of women in Burkina Faso.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the president paid tribute to the resilience and enthusiasm of Burkinabè women, acknowledging their vital role in the nation’s development and security. In his message, Traoré expressed his dedication to fostering an environment where women can fully exercise their roles, calling for a day of introspection to further women’s empowerment in the country.
