President Sahle-Work Farewells Namibian Ambassador and AfDB Deputy Director in Ethiopia


ADDIS ABABA — President Sahle-Work Zewde recently bid farewell to Namibian Ambassador Emilia Ndinelao Mkusa and Abdul Kamara, the Deputy Director General and Country Representative of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Ethiopia. Both diplomats were acknowledged for their significant contributions to Ethiopia’s development and international relations during their respective tenures.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, President Sahle-Work expressed gratitude to Ambassador Mkusa for her role in enhancing the bilateral relations between Namibia and Ethiopia over her five-and-a-half-year term. The President also commended Abdul Kamara for the African Development Bank’s vital support to Ethiopia’s development initiatives throughout his seven years of service.



The ceremony marked the conclusion of their duties in Ethiopia, reflecting on the productive collaborations that have benefited Ethiopia’s economic and diplomatic landscape.
