President of Faso to Address Living Forces of the Nation at Ouaga 2000 Sports Palace


OUAGADOUGOU — Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, the President of Faso, is scheduled to engage in a significant dialogue with the Living Forces of the Nation this Thursday at the Sports Palace of Ouaga 2000. This engagement is set to include representatives from all 13 regions of Burkina Faso and is designed to address the country’s aspirations towards a prosperous, strong, and sovereign nation.



According to Burkina Information Agency, this meeting underscores Captain TRAORE’s commitment to continually engage with the people of Burkina Faso, ensuring that their voices and aspirations are integral to the national agenda. The discussion will focus on the President’s vision for the next five years, emphasizing solidarity, unity, and social cohesion. Moreover, the gathering will also address strategies for combating terrorism within Burkina Faso and the wider AES confederate area.



The session follows the National Conference on the continuation of the Transition held on May 25, 2024, where the achievements of the current transitional phase were evaluated, and strategies for ongoing national development were proposed. Captain TRAORE, who received renewed confidence from the Living Forces of the Nation at this conference, is expected to deliver a crucial message regarding the future of the Transition during this week’s meeting.
