Ouagadougou: The President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, engaged in discussions with a delegation from the State Duma, the parliament of the Russian Federation, during an official visit. The meeting, held yesterday afternoon, focused on enhancing parliamentary cooperation between Burkina Faso and Russia.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the delegation was led by Dmitri Ivanovich Savielev, Coordinator of the friendship group with the parliament of Burkina Faso. The discussions emphasized cooperation in education and culture, highlighting the importance of these areas in strengthening bilateral ties. Savielev noted that talks also included activities of the Russian House and the Public Diplomacy Center in Ouagadougou.
The Russian delegation expressed their appreciation for President Traor©’s visit to Moscow, underscoring the significance of his presence. Dmitri Ivanovich Savielev conveyed that it was an honor to host President Traor©, who is regarded as a valued friend of the Russian Federation.
