Luanda: Angolan President Joo Louren§o held a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Frederich Merz, Monday afternoon, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations.

According to Angola Press News Agency, during the conversation, the two leaders discussed issues of common interest within the framework of the political, economic, and diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The conversation also served as an opportunity to exchange views on the upcoming European Union-African Union Summit, scheduled for November of this year in Luanda, which is expected to bring together African and European leaders to discuss issues related to intercontinental cooperation, investment, and sustainable development.
