Icolo Bengo: President Joo Louren§o inaugurated the Casa do Kwanza, located in the Special Economic Zone of Icolo Bengo province.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the Casa do Kwanza is an infrastructure developed by the National Bank of Angola. Its primary purpose is to serve as a logistics center dedicated to the storage, processing, and destruction of currency.
The facility was constructed over a period of approximately four years. It is specifically designed for the storage of currency and precious metals, as well as the processing and destruction of banknotes that are deemed unfit for circulation.
