Luanda: President Joo Louren§o has conveyed his congratulations to Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso on his re-election. In a message to his Congolese counterpart, the Angolan leader expressed honor on behalf of both the Executive and himself regarding the renewed mandate of Denis Sassou Nguesso.

According to Angola Press News Agency, Joo Louren§o emphasized that the Congolese people's renewed confidence in their leader reflects an acknowledgment of the progress made under his leadership, particularly in terms of improving living conditions. There is also an expectation that these efforts will continue.

The message highlighted that Denis Sassou Nguesso's continued leadership ensures stability and security in the region, which is beneficial for both Angola and Congo. Joo Louren§o stressed the significance of strengthening bilateral relations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

The Angolan President reiterated his high regard and expressed Angola's commitment to enhancing the strategic partnership between the two nations.
