Luanda: The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, on Wednesday appointed Isaac Francisco Maria dos Anjos as the new Minister of Agriculture and Forestry. He replaces António Francisco de Assis in this role.
According to Angola Press News Agency, in a separate decree, the President appointed Albano Vicente Lopes as the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation. This position was previously held by Paula Regina Simões de Oliveira. Additionally, Juliano Cuabi Niongue Capita has been named the deputy governor of the province of Cabinda for Technical Services and Infrastructure, succeeding Agostinho da Rocha Fernandes da Silva.
In the same set of decrees, Isaac Francisco Maria dos Anjos was relieved from his duties as the secretary of the President of the Republic for the Productive Sector. These appointments mark a significant reshuffle in the governmental cabinet.
