President Brice Nguema Highlights Angola and Gabon Strengthened Relations

Luanda: The President of the Republic of Gabon, Brice Nguema, emphasized on Wednesday in Luanda, the importance of strengthening and expanding cooperation frameworks between Angola and Gabon to strategically transform mineral resources within both countries' border. While addressing the National Assembly of Angola as part of his three-day state visit to the southern African country, President Nguema said that this strategy would benefit both peoples.

According to Angola Press News Agency, President Nguema highlighted the potential for accelerating economic diversification through developing agro-industry and valorizing forest resources, alongside the local transformation of mineral resources. He underscored the historical relationship between Angola and Gabon, which dates back to January 1982, describing it as one of great brotherhood.

Brice Nguema is in Angola for a three-day state visit, which began Wednesday. A highlight of his work agenda was the private meeting held Wednesday morning at the Presidential Palace with Angolan President Joo Louren§o, followed by the signing of three agreements in agriculture, forestry, security, and public order.
