Pouytenga: The Minister of Security, Mahamadou Sana, handed over yesterday Friday, on behalf of the citizen watch of Pouytenga, 16 motorcycles and fuel worth 2.15 million FCFA to the fighting forces of the city and those of the commune of Kando. To contribute to the peace effort, the populations of the town of Pouytenga, in the Centre-East, offered these resources to the Security Defense Forces and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland of their commune and of Kando.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Minister Mahamadou Sana praised this patriotic gesture and urged the residents of Pouytenga to continue their support for the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP). He emphasized the importance of collective action in the ongoing struggle to restore peace and security in Burkina Faso, stating, “The war against Burkina Faso is a war that falls to all Burkinabe.”
