POUYTENGA – In a recent show of support for healthcare efforts, Sankmoney company delivered essential resources to the Pouytenga health district on Saturday, including ten beds and ten mattresses. This donation was part of the health district’s celebration of its 5th Days of Excellence, aimed at improving patient care in the region.
According to Burkina Information Agency, General Director of Sankmoney, the contribution underscores the company’s commitment to bolstering healthcare services, particularly for the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and other patients. During the event, Zabsonré praised healthcare workers for their dedication to enhancing the well-being of the community amidst challenging conditions. The equipment aims to meet the increasing demands of patient care, especially for those injured in military engagements.
The ceremony also included remarks from Mahamadou Sana, the Minister Delegate in charge of Security, who highlighted the crucial role of health personnel in supporting anti-terrorism efforts and socio-economic stability in Burkina Faso. Sana emphasized that the health sector’s support is vital for the security forces active in combat zones.
Dr. Ousmane Isidore Kalmogo, the chief physician of the Pouytenga health district, provided an overview of the district’s resources, which include 28 public health facilities, 10 private health centers, and three pharmacies staffed by 214 workers. The 5th Days of Excellence event, themed ‘Resilience and Excellence at the Heart of Our Challenges,’ also recognized several health workers and centers for their outstanding service and dedication.
