Lorop©ni: The president of the special delegation of the commune of Lorop©ni, Faon-Nignin¨ Jean Damasc¨ne Som©, officially launched the written examinations for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the Junior High School Certificate (BEPC) for the 2026 session this Tuesday morning at the Lorop©ni-Amiti© Primary School and the Lorop©ni Departmental High School. A total of 823 candidates are taking the CEP and 416 the BEPC in the commune.
According to Burkina Information Agency, for this session, the commune of Lorop©ni has a total of 1,239 candidates for school exams. At the CEP (Certificate of Primary Education), 823 candidates, including 424 girls and 399 boys, are divided into two examination boards to obtain their first school diploma. At the BEPC, 416 candidates, including 213 girls and 203 boys, also sit in two juries.
On this occasion, PDS Faon-Nignin¨ Jean Damasc¨ne Som© urged the candidates to demonstrate serenity, concentration and confidence throughout the tests. He also praised the commitment of teachers, supervisors, and parents of students, whose efforts contributed to the good preparation of the candidates.
The head of the municipality finally wished all the candidates every success and invited those involved in the education system to continue their efforts to ensure the smooth running of the exams.
