Bouroum-bouroum: Second term assessments commenced on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, across all public primary schools in the Basic Education District (CEB) of Bouroum-Bouroum, located in the province of Poni.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Poni, Sie Kerwoute Tioye, undertook a supervisory mission to several schools to ensure the tests proceeded smoothly. Accompanied by his staff, Tioye visited public primary schools in Bouroum-Bouroum A, B, and C, as well as the public primary school in Banlo, approximately three kilometers from the district capital.
The purpose of the field visit was to verify the effective commencement of the assessments and to motivate those involved in organizing the process. During his visits, Tioye acknowledged the teachers and educational supervisors for their efforts in facilitating the exams and encouraged students to remain diligent and focused to achieve favorable outcomes.
Tioye also reiterated the provincial directorate's dedication to aiding education system stakeholders in their quest to enhance the quality of education in Poni province.
Dr. Lassane Tao, Head of the Bouroum-Bouroum Basic Education District (CCEB), expressed appreciation for the provincial directorate's visit, viewing it as a significant encouragement for the teaching teams in the field. He extended his best wishes to the delegation for a successful mission.
