Police in Polokwane Launch Search for Missing 27-Year-Old Woman and Her Infant

POLOKWANE – The police in Giyani have initiated a search operation for Tintswalo Baloyi, a 27-year-old woman, and her 7-month-old baby. Both are residents of Dzingidzingi Village and have been missing since Saturday, 07 October 2023.

According to a news release by South African Police Service, Tintswalo Baloyi was last seen leaving her home for shopping in Giyani town. She was wearing a yellow dress at the time of her disappearance, though the clothing worn by her baby is unknown.

Despite efforts by family, friends, and neighbors, the search for Baloyi and her child has so far been unsuccessful.

The police are requesting anyone with information on their whereabouts to contact Investigating Officer Sergeant Vuma Shirhandziwa Anastasia at 0795728709, or the Crime Stop number at 0860010111, or the nearest police station, or to share information via the MySAPS App.
