KAVANGO WEST: The Namibian Police Force in the Kavango West Region took decisive action on Sunday, arresting 14 individuals accused of dismantling a fence on a piece of land in Gava village, which they claim was illegally enclosed. According to Namibia Press Agency, Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga reported that the altercation began around 07h20 when the suspects allegedly used pangas and axes to tear down the fence and poles. The suspects also reportedly threatened the lives of farm workers if they continued their employment with the complainant, a 37-year-old Namibian farm owner. The individuals arrested are between 25 and 54 years old, including two women aged 42 and 45. All suspects are expected to appear in the magistrate's court at Kahenge on Tuesday. The police investigation into the matter is ongoing.
